Equipment For Hire

With the help of the NSW Government LSCA Program - Lismore grant, CORE has been able to buy a variety of equipment to help the local community in their flood clean-up.

We have a range of heavy duty brooms, mops and squeegees to high-pressure cleaners, wet/dry vacuums and dehumidifiers that local residents can borrow…at no cost.

Maximum length of one hire is 7 days per item to ensure optimum accessibility for all in need. You can then re-hire if you need…however you may need to wait for next availability.

We have a designated window of time for collection and drop-off of equipment. This will be advised to you upon completion of the form. This is overseen by volunteers and helps with the smooth turnover process. We encourage you to return and pickup equipment within your designated time window.

  • Squeegee with wooden handle.

    High quality rubber insert (replacements available at Bunnings); quality timber handle for that extra wear and tear. The perfect tool to scrape out the mud during clean-up and then to smooth a variety of coatings in construction recovery, including drywall and concrete restoration.

    Vileda Easy Wring And Clean Turbo Mop and Bucket

    Mop heads are machine-washable and reusable. Suitable for all hard floor types, including wood and laminate. Its mop head is easy to change - simply pull on the mop strands to unclip the head and replace by pressing into the red frame.

  • Yellow and black high pressure cleaner with 2 black attachments.

    Karcher K2 Plus High Pressure Washer – Electricity-powered

    We will also supply a hose and extension cord so this washer is operational as soon as you take it home. These are not commercial scale and are recommended more for cleaning of items rather than a muddy floor.

  • Chrome and green vacuum.

    Ryobi 20L Stainless Steel Wet Dry Vacuum

    Has carry handle, blower function, 1250W motor, hose connection outlet and 1.8m hose. Comes with a dust bag, crevice tool, foam and paper cartridge filter.

  • Biege Dehumidifier.

    DeLonghi 16L Aria Dry Multi Dehumidifier – Electricity-powered

    Designed for rooms up to 40m2. Helps once mud has been cleared in drying out the walls etc. prior to renovation. Draws excess moisture from the air to prevent mould, mildew and condensation, while also neutralising harmful bacteria and allergens. Appliance easily moves between rooms with its integrated handles and wheels.
